what do u mean?? in a row like * * * * which is number one? I would say the one with the shortest spark plug wire, so the very left one.

#1 is always the one closest to the drive pulleys, for the alternator & stuff; #4 is closest to the flywheel. So #1 has the longest plug wire in most (all?) Hondas.

oh c'mon man, its not that hard..... #1 cylinder is closest to the driver. 2, 3, and 4 follow. :slap:

Installing cam gear and need to verify that number one cylinder is tdc!

I agree... #1 is closest to cam gears. #4 is closest to the intake. Convinced yet?
