H22 is the best engine for that swap. Should cost between $2000 and $2800 for the entire swap(parts), you can get them anywhere on the 'net and local tuner shops.
Here's a good site: www.jdmcars.com

That said, you should visit the Tech>Hybrid forum for more info.

Just set aside 3 grand for everything and that should suffice.

i also think the 5th gens motors bolt right in (non vtec at least), prelude trannes bolt right in also.

H22
H23
F22
F23
F20B

All are valid options for swapping into your car some of these engines have a few variants and minor differences between those variants.

Most common swap is usually to put the H22 (DOHC Vtec engine from Prelude) into the car and it is a highly common and extremely reliable swap that puts out very nice power.

i just thought of another question. If i swapped in a h22 from a prelude and were to buy a bolt on after that, when they ask for year make and model, do i still say 91 honda accord or would i say it was a honda prelude?

the prelude, although somethings might require custom fabrication.

idk, the engine bays arent exactly the same, so some things might need to be altered to fit properly.
