engine swap
hi im new here and i need some help. I drive a 91 accord dx and want to do an engine swap. I need to know what is a good engine to get that will fit in my car, how much it costs, and where to buy it. any help would be great thanks.
H22 is the best engine for that swap. Should cost between $2000 and $2800 for the entire swap(parts), you can get them anywhere on the 'net and local tuner shops.
Here's a good site: www.jdmcars.com
That said, you should visit the Tech>Hybrid forum for more info.

All are valid options for swapping into your car some of these engines have a few variants and minor differences between those variants.
Most common swap is usually to put the H22 (DOHC Vtec engine from Prelude) into the car and it is a highly common and extremely reliable swap that puts out very nice power.

i just thought of another question. If i swapped in a h22 from a prelude and were to buy a bolt on after that, when they ask for year make and model, do i still say 91 honda accord or would i say it was a honda prelude?
