coilovers way too bouncy in the rear

wassup guys, i got some no anem brand coil overs on ebay and I'm using them with TOKICO blue shocks. ANd the rear of the car is super bouncy. Is there anything I can do yet not have to spend more money? BESIDES PUTTING STUFF IN THE TRUNK TO MAKE IT HEAVY!..HEHE thanks.

if not, do you know which spring company offers a 1-1.5" drop only?

THANKS AGAIN!

no name = :madfawk:

I'd say it's time to sell those no names and get yourself some ground control coilovers.

I have the same shocks on my car with ground control coilovers. Makes for a very nice ride!

edit: after reading what's below this post I may get some better adjustable shocks soon. guess I haven't been in enough good cars to know what a GOOD suspension should feel like :(

tokico blues were only meant to be stock replacements or else used with mild springs like eibach prokit... if the spring rate on that no name coilover is high enough, the blues won't be able to handle it..

oh man you messed up..i went down that road with another car and got into a wreck because i lost control of my car becuase it bounced so bad..
i am now on KYB AGX and ground controls and it is a perfect ride...sorry to tell you but you got crap. the struts are ok..but i think they are the worst aftermarket strut out..they are better then OEM..but i think if you were gonig to get non adj. then you should have went with the GR2 or something...anyway..hope you can figure out..just tryin to give my .02 ...maybe you can sell them to a friend:)

GR2s are not as good as Tokico blues, for lowered cars.

basically if buy no name crap and use inadequate struts your going to have a poor ride.

:werd: I would have saved you money longer and got something that has a reputation instead of ebay crap. I've got Tein coilovers, took me a little while to save for them but it was well worth it. I know I got what I paid for.

H&R "sport" springs only lower about 1.5"
im getting the race ones and u should AGX's cuz they are adjustable. How much did you pay for the springs?

ODUB 01-13-2004 06:22 PM

tokico blues are shit

Nightshade 01-13-2004 06:31 PM

Tokico Blues are garbage (I have a set right now) but when you mate them to bad spring weight it multiplys the effect.

Get good coilovers and I bet you see an improvement because even good struts with poor spring rate is going to ride like crap.
