What are some good brake pads that won't break the bank?
 

My wear indicators are singing to me, time to upgrade! My rotors are band new so that's cool, but what brake pads should I get for teh Accord? I'm kinda leaning towards Axxis MetalMaster. Anybody have any suggestions? I'd like to spend as little as possible while getting the best bang for my buck, I think up to $40-$50 would be my max.

Anyone?

my old stillen metalmatrix's > aem nissin pads i have now.... they're specific xdrilled rotor pads.. i dun think it matter though :oh:

running AEM pads. I love them.

I have heard Axxis Metal Masters and rotor eaters in the same sentence a couple times. Should I not get the Axxis pads? I don't wanna be replacing my rotors all the time cause then I'd for sure have to do the rotor over hub conversion, right Alan?

They're okay. They do the job, but they dust like a mofo. I'm just waiting til these wear out so I can put my AEM pads on.

ya know, that seems to be a common complaint about the MM pads. And alot of people are running AEM pads and I've heard they have great cold bite, don't fade much, and don't dust as much as the MM pads, maybe I should get AEM for $46 instead of the MM for $42:dunno:

Yes Rich do the AEM pads, I have the MM and they do dust like a mofo and also I will bet that if you get the MM with a blank style rotor that is will eat up the rotor quick since it was made to be matched with slotted or drilled rotors.

And yes the conversion will happen asap
