hmm...thats a good start. actually im looking to remove the entire top half (not just the gauge cluster) so that i can dye it black.
also...to get to the screws i just pop off the buttons (cruise, defrost, etc)? im such a n00b :P |
the best thing to do is go get the haynes manual for your car, it shows you exactly where every bolt is. thats what i did when i put my indiglo's in

If you want to move the top dash part, you got to take out the passenger airbag..To get access to the 4 bolts for the airbag you got to remove the glove compartment.
|
this is getting overly complicated....ill get a haynes tho...thanks for the help

And about getting to the screws you will need to just stick a flat head underneath the buttons and it will just pop out to where you can reach the screws. |
maybe ill just go ghetto style and dye it in place....i dont wanna get jacked by the airbag

Might sound stupid buy what do u use to dye ur dashboard?

you can unplug the airbag control. it's behind the center console i think. look for a steering wheel exchange diy and it should tell you how to unplug the srs
