Halo headlights

Hey guys.
I got into an accident recently, and the bracket that holds my halo projector to my car is cracked.. I was wondering if anyone knew a resolution for holding the headlight in place besides buying the entire headlight again? Here's a pic:

Wish I didn't have to buy a new bumper to fix this too :<

Thanks for any input fellas

Good LAWD you're lucky that missed the lens! I think if you found some plastic, made a make shift bracket and JB Welded it on there you'd be fine. You might want to check the seal around the lens too for any breaks...silicone that and you'll be leak free!

Where did you get your license from a cracker jack box?

thanks iamnemo. :D
yeah i was pretty lucky.. i was only going 5 mph when this happened..
I wonder if autobodys would do this? I have one right next to work, and i practically live at work so i might be able to swing by. If you know of a specific place that does it, thatd be great tho :)

carta, if you do not have any productive input to say, shut your mouth. your cleverness suffers with the quality of your post. thanks

just fyi, this accident happened because brakes failed in snow.

Nope they don't make it for the 5th Gen yet.:( Maybe in time they will. Hit up www.elegantebytyc.com and e-mail them.

No headlights for 5th Gen. Maybe soon or later.

wow very surprice it broke at that speed, i have halo projectors and i think the reason they dont brake easy is because they made out of plastic and not glass like stock headlights. Do you have warranty on them? you can say it was broken

ka0tikkris 12-17-2003 07:40 AM

the housing itself is not broken.. just the plastic bracket that holds it to the car :)

Duct tape it, baby. J/k. But maybe you want to drill a small hole on that small bracket still left on the headlight assembly. Then you slip a grounding wire or any flexible cable and ghetto-tie it down to the engine chassis.
