DYNO chart of 6th gen i4???? shift@which rpm?
I was wondering if anyone has a DYNO graph from a 6th gen i4. I want to see if the power drops off before the 6.5krmp redline. Also i know some ignition kits can eliminate the rev limiter or move it up. How high can the f23 motor safely rev (i'm sure honda answered my question with the 6.5 redline LOL) ? Also if it could rev freely will it make more power or more power than the next gear past 6.5krpm? Just fire away with ur knowledge. I'm doubting that shifting at the absolute max is better than right before. Sometimes going from 1st to 2nd it seems like the wheels are more willing to chirp at or just shy of 6k.

i doubt the stock cams will make any power above the stock redline.

best thing to do is to go spend a few bucks and get the car dynoed. However, there is one guy on super-honda I believe that just posted his dyno chart a few weeks back. As for safe reving range......I'm not up to date on the F23, but if it has as bad of a r/s ratio as the F22 series.....>6500 is asking for trouble, but with a built valve train, maybe 7000rpm would be plausable. However, most Honda dynos I've seen, stock, seem to drop off just after peak power output...... Basically, the rule of thumb I've been told, is to shift where the horsepower and torque curves intersect, but how true that is.....not sure.
