tire width
If I'm currently using my stock wheels.. 185/65-15s, could I put 205/60-15s tires on them without problems? (I can't afford new rims..)
How would this affect performance? How does tire width affect performance overall? I know it can reduce handling on corners and in the snow, but otherwise, I have no clue.

Do you have a 98-02 4cyl?

I want to put 215/60-15 Sumitomo HTR-200s on my stock 15" steelies and use them for autocrosses, so I don't have to shred my expensive 18" Yokohamas.
Will the wider tires help performance, and will they fit on the stock '02 LX I4 steelies? Are the stock steelies 6.5" wide?

205 55 >195 60>205 60 for a 90-97 accord
a 205 60 15 will have a taller sidewall than a 195 60 15, making it flex more and handle worse. the sidewall number "60" is 60% of the width, thus as the width gets wider and the aspect ratio stay the same the tire gets taller. which is why 205 55 15 fits perfectly.

Ya, I have a 97LX 4cyl
Will both 205/60-15s and 205/55-15s fit on my stock rims?

But one of my friend that has 205/60-15 on 96 Accord EX and ride is little bouncy..
I would recommend 205/55-15..
