Default Maintence req'd light

My dad called me the other day and asked me if i knew how to get the maintence req'd light off on a 98 accord. anybody know how?

^^^^ :werd: its a little "switch" type thing that controled by the odometer. Just push the little "button" on the cluster next to the so called "light" (its not a light on the 4th gens)

And tell your dad to change the oil at this time. Thats what its telling him.

It will change from green to red (orange) abut every 3000 miles or so.

use your key to reset it in the little slot beside it.

Come on guys...I posted the damn pic haha. He doesn't need to go to the dealer, there is no slot in his gauge cluster.
