Default Bulb in headlight blew up - HELP

Hey, my friend has a '97 Accord and he put new bulbs into his headlights. One of them exploded, leaving some kind of residue or something inside the headlight.

Do you guys know how to clean it? What is the safe way to do it?

Thanks.

I guess you could get really long q-tips and use acetone on it.

Remove the whole headlight. Do the oven method to pry it apart. Clean it very good. Then put it back in the oven for a few minutes to reheat the glue and strap back together.

You can also perform black housings while they are apart.
