window problems/removing door panel

Default window problems/removing door panel

i rollled down my windows today and they refused to roll back up. sounds like its stuck on something. anyhoo im having problems taking off the door panel. im having problems removing the door lock assemply. i dunno how to disconnect the rod.

when you take off your door panels, you usually don't disconnect the rod, it just unscrews, and after the whole thing is kinda floating on the door handle assembly, you just kinda wiggle it out. cause trying to get that rod off and back on is a b****, hope that helps, if you need anymore help write back

oh so i can take off the door panel without removing the door handle stuff?

u have to remove the door handle just be careful u dont brake it like i did lol

i was workin on it and some plastic broke off. h:. it sucks when u know u gotta be somewhere soon h:

There is a small plastic clip that holds the rod into a hole in the handle... you have to pop the clip loose with a flathead and it turns out of the way, then the rod lifts up and out.

You do have to remove the door handle to remove the panel easily.

Oh yeah, your window is probably not stuck on anything, the regulator or motor probably went bad. That always happens in our cars.

got the door panel off. theres these metal cables along the glass that are tangled and ish. my dad's friend who owns a shop is droppin by later. owes my dad a favor. hopefully all goes well. the window is currently being held up with rags stuffed along the side. the drive to school tomorow is gonna be hot h:

yep you need a new motor, takes like 10 mins to install
