Check your owners manual, it has directions. Something like pushing in the trip odometer reset button while turning car to "on" position until the light stops flashing - something like that I think.

Just thought I'd pass this along as some gee whiz:

I just read on another forum that for the 7th gen, you turn the key all the way to on (not crank) and when all the lights are on, push the dimmer switch in and hold it for 10 seconds. The light should go off at that point.

lol, what you do is with the car off, hold down the reset button on the dash cluster. Then turn the ignition to the #2 position or the on position and leave it there. After a couple seconds the MR right will blink then blink off.

you are the bomb, I had that same light on for about 2weeks. I got my Oil and filter changed last night and when i got home from the shop I tired your method and it worked just like you said. I have just hit 40K on my accord what is the most common reason it came on?

The mr light is more like a oil change reminder. ECU just turns the light on after a certain amt of miles to remind you to do the standard maint.

Every 7500 miles. The light means absolutly nothing.
