Thinking suspension...
I have been told to get Integra rated shocks and springs for a stiffer ride and better handling. I just wanted to ask some questions about this while I'm thinking about it.
Are these just aftermarket shocks made to fit the 94-00 Integra? Will they fit the Sol alright? Did y'all actually mean the springs? Get Integra rated springs? Will ones rated for the GS-R fit the Sol? Thanks in advance, I'm really looking in to getting this car handling well. |
I bought the shocks for a 95 teg. Work great. The coilovers I'm running were actually for a 92 civic... The combo works great.

Is it okay to use Teg springs?
|
it might ride a hair higher, and might be a bit more stiff. All depends on what you want. Could be shitty (too stiff) or kick ass (nice and stiff!!!)
|
I guess I'll go Teg shocks and sol springs. I wonder which combo would give me better handling.
Now onto shocks. I'm trying to decide between Koni yellow, KYB, and Tokico. I don't know too much about the Koni though. What are their benefits? |
koni yellows are super adjustable; either 8 or 16 way, i can't recall; and koni will revalve them to match whatever spring weight you want, for a fee that is.
|
Thanks for the info. I didn't even know they were adjustable. That puts them high on my list now.
|
no problem; yeah the yellows are adjustable whereas the reds are not; though don't underestimate them, the reds still rock, i have em on my bmw
|
adjustables:
AGX illumina koni yellows (externally) koni reds (for some models, not all are adjustable, and I believe only adjustable internally) etc, etc For the money, you can't beat the agx's. I've gone through more sets of tokico blues than I care to think about. And my kyb's are holding fine. |
