Re: b18c1

Talk to westcoaststyle....he did this swap in his car and he knows everything about it so he is the one you need to talk to!

You rang? :chuckles:

You will need:
- OBD1 P72 ECU
- Bseries Axles (any Bseries will do)
- GSR upper driver's side mount
- GSR front lower tranny mount
- GSR rear tortion mount
- If you want to keep AC (if you have it) you need the AC mount from a DOHC VTEC Del Sol. If you don't care about AC or don't have it, you will need the GSR mount
- GSR throttle cable
- GSR throttle cable bracket for the firewall (not 100% necessary, but it's cheap from the dealer and it helps a lot)
- Good to get the GSR OBD2 engine harness too
- Bseries tranny
- Bseries shift linkage (both of the rods)

That should do it. Check out www.c-speedracing.com in their how to section. Their wiring is a little funny, but it'll give you a picture of what to do. Also, check out www.hybridgarage.com for even more info.

For most of those parts, contact Brian at AIM: SFGuy329

hih. :D

:edit:

Oh, as for the OBD1/OBD2 thing: you can put an OBD2 motor in your car and use an OBD1 ECU. You don't have to do anything special to do this. It's actually easier and that's what most hybrids do. It just doesn't use the extra sensors that OBD2 does so it makes the swap easier and you have to worry less about throwing a code.
