Default Duel Civic

A have a friend that Just got a body kit installed on his 97 civic sedan, and the rear bumper has the duel exhuast layout, how much would it cost to do duels on his civic and is there any special think that he has to have done before he can get it all installed? What mufflers do you guys recomend?

don't do dual exhausts on a civic it causes a loss in backpressure and loss of precious HP just fill the hole with some kind of bondo, because dual exhaust civics look stupid too

who cares about the loss of backpressure when i presume its for show? my boy is getting in done for $150 but thats changing the piping to 2 1/4 and bending the exhaust sideways.

I had it done with 2 1/4 piping with a y pipe after the muffler and pipe leading from there to the back finished with 2 tips. No backpressure prob and it sounded real good. As for what mufflers it depends on the kit and the size of the cutouts

I think dual on a Civic is lame, but if you were to do it if you got pipes 1/2 the size instead of larger wouldn't the back pressure be the same?

pretty much, not alot of pressure comes out of the dual pipe

dual exhausts are still very :ghey: even if you fix the back pressure but if it makes you happy do it any ways
