HELP car won't start!!
hi guys need some help/advice..i got home about 2 hours ago car was running fine...but when i went to go back out to start my car..no go....the battery is fine...all the lights and sounds work...i can hear the fuel pump turn on but the engine does not crank at all and there is not clicking sound like when the battery is out...my guess is the starter is out....its a 99 honda civic ex w/close to 70K mi on it...any other advice/suggestions????..THANKS

Yeah it sounds like a starter problem. Try to tap on the starter with a hammer or something.
there is no clicking sounds like when the battery is dead..would that be an indication of a starter problem or would the starter click no matter what?
Battery or the starter. If your battery is dead, then the alternator went out most likely. Check you battery, then check the starter.
this morning i decided one more time to try to see if it would start...and IT DID!....soo?..is this an indication the starter is going out or what??
Yeah it sounds like you need a starter. But I wouldn`t get one right away first I would see if it acts up again, if so then you will know what to replace.
Is it a 5-spd? Clutch start it! Woo hoo!
If i'm correct, you can go to Advanced and get them to test your starter, battery, and such.

Yep, get it tested at Advance or AutoZone for FREE! That will tell you right away what your problem is. Make sure to check the connections. Sometimes the little wire gets loose on the starter solenoid and won't start. Just crush it a little with needle nose pliers to make a tight fit.
