Default 1992 Honda Civic Si, True VTEC?

I was wondering if the 92-93 Civic Si's / Ex were the same VTEC engine as the D16Z6 motors in the 94-95's? Do the 92-93 have 125hp also? They don't say VTEC on the valve covers.

Thanks.

Some SOHC VTEC engines were marked, others weren't. All 5G Si and EX models had the SOHC VTEC D16Z6.

Yeah it is a D16Z6 Vtec. My D16Z6 in my ex doesn't have "Vtec" on the valve cover.
