My Civic Lx sedan is Auto and whenever I change from Neutral to D4 the whole car twitches, this happened just last night when I hit 96000km's. everything was fine before and it just happened out of nowhere and is still twitching whenever I shift into gear. Anyone help me out?

 

I haven't changed my transmission fluid, but I will be doing a full tune-up on the car. Could it be the tranny fluid causing the problem?

 

yea could be the fluid. also could be a tranny mount that has worn out so when shifting into gear the car shudders.

 

most autos I've driven do that at least a little :dunno: I wouldn't worry about it too much.

 

Just checked it at the shop, turns out it's a busted motor mount, gotta replace it
