Default Fog lights wiring

I just got some jdm fogs without a wiring harness. I would like to just tap them into my headlight wire so they come on with my headlights.

Will this cause my fuse to blow or cause any other problems?

I don't see why it would. I'd say try it out and see. If it blows a fuse, replace it and do it some other way. Trial and error sometiems best.

You should get a wire tester. If you don't know what that is, it looks like a screwdriver, but the handle has a bulb in it with a wire coming out of the top. And the other end is a sharp point.

You can figure out which wire is for your headlights by testing it to see when it's hot or cold.

You should be ok tapping into the headlight wiring.

I would say tap the wires to a relay, so it won't cause any burning of the wire, yet the fog lights are 55/60 watt, so combined the headlights and fog are about 110/120 watt. I;ve seen people run those high wattage Ion Blue lights in civics with no harness melting or wire burning, so you might be alright. But if I were you, i would use a relay.
