I'm going turbo crazy
I finally got my engine rebuild done and the F-max turbo setup installed. I get all juiced up and go for the first test drive:D
Then I notice a faint white smoke coming from under the car:confused: I pull it into the garage and track it down it is coming from where the the down pipe meets the exhaust. No big deal I thought just check the seal and tighten it up...........WRONG. it had oil dripping out of it. I look and it is coming from the turbo:mad:    So I just called Adrian at Turbonetics who said it was a seal in the turbo and to send it back and it will be replaced under warranty:) Now for the bad part I have to take it off again. It is so dang tight to get it off and on!!:madfawk: |
sorry to hear it.

at least they are replacing it :)

could be worse.. it could have been a hole in your case. :oh:
|
I know it could have been worse so I'm glad in that aspect.
On a side note when taping the oil pan who high up on the oil pan did you all go? |
I'd just leave the piping and everything in, and not drive for a while :p
