I am looking to finally modify the suspension on my car and am looking into a lower rear sway bar for my car, a 93 civic ex. I have been told I am going to need the lower control arm of a car which came with the sway bar stock, but I have also heard that it comes with the necessary hardware, any input or previous installations of this on you cars would be much appreciated.

what sway bar? new or used...??

if you want to go with an integra sway bar, then you'll need integra LCA's or you'll need to drill holes and tap them to the correct size of the bolt... personally, i went for LCA's.

and if your buying it used, you need to make sure they include everything needed for installation, otherwise you'll be callling up acura trying to find parts.

i know that if you buy the Suspension Techniques kit, it comes with all the mounting hardware you need, even if your car didnt come with sways from the factory.

 

i wouldnt use used bars i was talking about aftermarket cheif and if the suspension techniques one fits that is what im looking for.

 

suspension techniques civic bars come with all nessasary hardware to mount them up.


if you buy integra bars, its a different story.
