I was just wondering.......on average how much hp does an AEM CAI and a Greddy 4-2-1 2pc header give you?

The AEM may give you 1-2hp peak, but it's possible you can lose that much in the lower rev range (under 3500rpm). The header will give about 3-5.

6hp gain from both is on the optimistic side. I agree with the first response of 2-4hp.

yeah.. on a 1.6L SOHC motor, bolt-ons do next to nothing. however, more displacement and/or forced induction make those bolt-ons worth it

bolt-ons are a waste of money on any car where FI induction is planned. What are you gonna do with your intake and header and exhaust if you go turbo? And bolt-ons are even more useless on SOHC Civics. Decide where you wanna go first and then make your purchases. Don't just buy stuff just to have mods.
