So I recently put on my 16's on my car. It looks a lot better and will look even better once I lower it. But just now, I was watching TV and I heard my alarm go off. I looked out my door and saw an old Maxima with 17-18 rims on it leaving my neighborhood. The car and the people in it didn't look like they lived here and I've never seen them around. It had an exhaust so maybe that set off my car, but I don't know. Now I am paranoid and want to buy one of those autolocks. I have to clean out the garage so I can fit my car in there. What do you guys/ girls think?

maybe they were just admiring your new rims but i'd get more security for your car. better safe then sorry.

 

Well I am going to pull the car into the garage to make me feel better for tonite and I'll go buy some new locks for the wheels and an autolock/ club for the car. Do you think that is enough or should I upgrade my security system?

 

I was just alking about this with somebody. Don't go crazy on upgrading security. Just get teh basics. Because if someone wants your car that bad they are going to get it one way or another(flatbed). And by basics I mean decent car alarm, lock lugs, maybe lo-jack, few kill switches and thats it. Anything mroe than that is overkill. I saw some crazy shit on the interent today..... all kinds of weird gadgets!!! Oh and the wheel lock may help a bit w/ the club.

Car in garage!
I'm going to get an auto lock tomorrow and some locks for my rims. As far as the kill switch, I think I only have the basic starter kill on my DEI Hornet Alarm. I was reading some threads and I realized that shady characters do go into nicer neighborhoods. I think that I am only apprehensive when the car is out over night. Not so much at work or during the day by my home. Keep the comments coming! Thanks for the reassurance.
