Default Brake Dust,...

i have a friend,..he has some 95 GSR rims,..he had alot of brake dust accumalate onto his rims without washing it off,...this idiot didnt know that if your car sits in the sun then the brake dust will "bake" onto the wheels making it a bitch to get off,...so this morning im trying a couple things i have in the garage,..engine degreaser and brake cleaner,...this shit is caked on there,..any ideas on how to get this shit off easier??? the shit im using isnt working,...thanks in advance

try knocking it off with a hammer and screwdriver if its not on the outside on the spokes.

and i wouldnt want to try that,...i dont want to leave gouges if it gets to deep
