would it hurt if i went with 195/60/14? what would be the consequences of going with a smaller tire?

Hehe... Somebody wants some Azenis tires... I think that is the correct sizing if you want to up the width of the tire. If anything, your speedo might be a little off, but I doubt it.

you'd most likely be ok
You prob wouldn't even notice the difference. I like a wider tire too, but I went out and got some 16's 205/45/16.

I run 195/60-14 and have no problems at all. I haven't done the math in a while but I don't think they're necessarily smaller. In fact, I think they might be a larger diameter...
