Any opinions on the ebay CAI's???
Just wondering it seems like alot of people have the AEM which is no doubt the damn near best.
I am wondering really, if anyone could comment on the fitment of the ebay ones? |
i think i intake is an intake, and the filter makes a little difference
|
while you can't expect 12-15 hp gains like companies advertise, they are still much better than the ebay ones. if an intake were an intake then there would never be any difference when people dyno test lots of different types. just go to groupbuycenter.com and look for a GB for aem or something. they have them all the time. it's worth it if you are gonna spend money for an intake.

they are ****ing worthless.....
|
They seem fairly worthless man. Stick with brand name if it is affordable to you :). Check out our sponsors pricing as well.

I got my new in box AEM CAI from ebay for $115. fits great no problems......just check feedback..i will post pics soon.
|
i had a "ebay" brand intake on my old accord...cosmo racing to be exact and i was happy with it...gave me about the same sound as the AEM CAI i have now on my civic. if you cant afford AEM, INJEN, ETC., go with cheap ebay shit...no worries.

ebay intake with a nice filter like K&N and you will be straight

Intakes are worth shit on stock cars. save your money. But if your gonna buy one, why spend $200.00. only people that spent $200.00 on a worthless AEM will try and justify it.
