What up fam? Well my timing belt went so I wanted to know, what are the chances of something else being wrong besides the timing belt? 02 civic ex.

The only way to know is to pull the head and check everything. In all the cases where I heard someone's timing belt went they bent a couple valves. I don't think I have ever heard of someone snapping the timing belt and all is well.

What is an interference engine? Is that what my 02 civic ex has?

What would it cost to have it fixed if there are bent valves?

in all honesty, if you bent some valves up and damaged the head it will be cheaper and easier just to swap in a lower mileage long block.
