road race springs? never heard of the brand or type.

pro kit = about 1.3-1.5 drop
sportline = about 1.6-1.8

I think, but I might be mistaken, that Eibach's race springs (ERS) are the springs that companies like Ground Control use in their setups. They are the flat topped and bottomed springs that come in specific spring rates, lengths, and diameters.

from the eibach website

Road-Race Kits...
The Choice of Champions.

The ultimate test of great suspension is not on the street but on the race-track. Eibach's Road-Race kits are designed for closed-course closed course racing enthusiasts who participate in Club and SCCA Solo 1 or Solo 2 events where OEM spring perches must be retained. With little or no performance modifications permitted, suspension choice becomes very critical - for that extra edge over the competition. When combined with sport tuned dampers, these springs provide an unbeatable combination.

Eibach Road-Race Kits provide the following benefits:
Maximum Grip
Lower Lap Times
Consistent Performance

To find out if an Eibach Road-Race Kit is available for your vehicle, go to the Application Guide on the menu to the left. To find the nearest dealer, use the Dealer Look-up.

I would think these spring rates ARE not made for the streets. Road racing springs are usually upwards of 600-1000 ft/lbs. Which is REALLY stiff.
