Default Civic 92-95 Lover

Hey guys a civic head from the UK here, i know you are american based but to be honest there is no such love in the UK for honda's really.

Well i've always loved the 92-95 civic ever since i was a kid, it's a shame really that i don't know much about cars but am really started to get into it. I don't want to become one of these UK boy racers who look like complete TW@TS, i just wanna get myself a 92-95 civic cos they just look frickin awesome!!!!!!

Now i've saved up some money roughly about 3000pounds i htink that is about $5000 and am already prepared to by my dream car..... with the help of you guys.

So far i've spotted this what do u think?

http://www.zednet.co.uk/goldsealgarage/listings/52.html

Please help me out on this guys, there is no hope in the UK.

well u could start with the top, but the top aint too fast... unless you have the dohc vtec's over there.. if you're looking into a swap and going all out race then you'd want to start with the lightest.. here its the CX.. not sure what it is there...

i'd get something decent (not a lot of dings and no rust), and a manual tranny. are you planning to do a swap in the future? also, if youre not planning to spend money on a paint job, get the color your really want. goodluck

Welcome to HAN.

I personally like civic hatchback's. But definitely get a 5-speed or you'll regret it later.

i wonder if uk spec 5g had power options? i kno the 6g hatch can be had with electric windows and a moon roof. the 6g is available in vti trim, with the b16a, but i dont kno if the sir-2 (5g b16a hatch) was ever available in the UK.
