Default After Market Sunroof on the DX

As far as I can see from comparing the USDM Civic DX to the SI which has the sunroof it looks like there is some sort of structurale beam in the way where the sunroof should go. Now in the SI it looks as though this beam has been moved back. Does any one have any information on or links to people who have done such a thing. It'd be nice seeing as I don't want the Added weight of all the A/C components, but it still gets pretty hot up here in Canada (South Central). :naughty:

MY buddy has a 95 Civic 4 Door, and he has a Aftermarket sunroof, and his leaks like shit...my suggesstion to you is it to not do it. He got his proffessionally done and it leaks. Just my 2 cents

i havent heard anything good about aftermarket sunroofs either... i wouldent do it

Factory sunroofs have a drip channel for the water to drain out of the car. Aftermarket ones can't. They all leak sooner or later. Leaky sunroofs are one of the most annoying things there are other than a leaky convertible top on a minitruck:doh:
