Default Post your D-series valve cover pics..

Trying to deicde what to do with my Y8 valve cover. Whether to polish it, powder it, paint it, chrome it, or just leave it the hell alone. If you've done up your D-series valve cover, post up a pic so we can see how it looks!

Yeah, that's my primary concern... and, I'm a lazy muthaphucka. I'm leaning towards something darker. I only wish that I could find hi-temp gunmetal paint somewhere...

No, mine was a D15. It came black. Looks very similar to previous generation Civic's. I've seen most come in silver/steel unpainted.

the diff b/t the D16 and the D15 is that the D16's oil fill hole is on the top right nad on the D15 its on the Bottom left. And the D16's spark plugs are along the bottom and the D15 is along the top.

D15B7 Valve cover

and D16 Valve cover

Who's obviously confused engine is this? That's a D15B8 8-valve CX engine. Someone must have swapped valve covers. Seeya.

Ha ha, I'm just teasing you. I had a CX engine for a while, I remember what they were like. Was your old one damaged or you just wanted something different? Seeya.
