vtec general

what yr did they first put the vtec engine in? and what models have them now

VTEC was first used in the NSX's 3.0L V6 in 1991.

Now... let's see.. the RSX Type-S has a modified i-VTEC engine. I'm pretty sure the NSX still has a 3.2L VTEC engine. I'm also pretty sure most of the Acura line and some of the Accords have VTEC as well. And, of course, the Civic EX and Si.

they started in the 91 nsx stated above, in the civics, they started in 92 in the hatch Si and sedan EX. and in the accord in 94 and in the prelude in 92 also or it might be 93
