Default exedy clutches on ebay...

... are extremely cheap.
for example
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33730

is there a reason why these clutches are being sold for a third less than act clutches?

I got one of those from one of clutchcityonline's auctions. They are cheap because they aren't the Exedy race clutches. They are simply stock replacement ones.

well anyways, I am looking for something to replace stock, but i don't want a race ready clutch. I just need a replacement, and I'm hoping to find something that doesn't require a strong leg to depress the clutch lol

don't get a stock clutch, they go out a LOT faster than race clutches... even a CM stage 1 clutch will be fine. also stock clutches can't hold the hp at the wheels as good, they'll just slip a little...aftermarket clutches will grab harder and not slip as much and last longer!

don't that satisfy the purchase of an exedy clutch? oem replacement that can handle higher loads?
