Default Blinkers not turning off

This is happening to my Civic EX '96 since more than a year. After signaling a turn, blinker does not turn off after the actual turn. I have to turn it off manually. What's wrong?

Thanks

Right there is a switch on the steering column that trips the turn signal stalk.

You need to replace the actual mechanism that the blinker is attached to. You have to pull the steering wheel to get to it.
