Default removing OEM radio

thinking of getting a new radio for the ride but i am seeing that the oem version kind of is not a regular sqaure shaped area but it has like a slant on the right side.. ANyone have any tips on this..

the appropiate dash kit for the car should remedy that problem.

cool thanks man.. i take it that i should also buy the harnest as well...

also i just looked at the dash and i dont see any screws, or anything to help me take this out.. anyone know where i can pop this baby out from?

well if you are doing it yourself when you install the new one youll definitely need the harness/kit etc. But if you take it somewhere they will probably include that in the price of installation(which they may jack up the price of the kit). When we did it on my friends 01' civic there was a plastic piece that went around the whole radio and it popped out w/clips, and then the screws were behind that, see if yours is like that, if not it may be a lil diff.
