Default EX Tranny Install into 99 Hatch...?'s

I'm getting ready to put a 98EX tranny in my 99 Hatch. To anyone who has done this, or knows about it...

Would I be ahead to do it myself or have someone do it for me?

How long does it take to do the swap?

What tools will I need(already have the manual:thumbup: )?

Are there any parts, seals/gaskets I need to get before I do the swap?

From what I've heard this is a fairly worthwhile swap to do, any comments or suggestions.

Thanks a lot.

It should bolt in with no problems. If it's yur first time, then be perepared to have a ride to other places. It might take a while but you'll learn. Also, try to have another set of hands.

Where does difficulty come in to play? Also, how do you go about removing the drive axle? Thanks.

You sound very inexperienced. I recommend a manual. www.helminc.com

I'm not THAT inexperienced, but I have never replaced a tranny before, that is true. I just want to make sure I have all of my bases covered. I already have the manual too, thanks though.

The manual shows you how to remove the axle.

I figured it would, I'm just at school, and the manual hasn't gotten to me yet from home. Thanks.
