I just got the mugen chip for my d16y8

Vtec 3800 and no rev limit how far can i saftly rev to?
I have intake and exhaust

i wouldnt push it higher than your stock redline. your vtec is at 3800? :eh:

d16z6 is 7200 for 95.. im sure its the same for 93.. 3800 vtec? dayem..

Don't rev too high... you might bend some valves. Get some aftermarket springs, retainers and valves if you plan on revvin' up there..

i wouldnt push a stock d motor past 7500... thers no point either

arent there issues with dropping your vtec to low. 3800 seems really low. i'm thinking i heard something about oil pressure?

there's no point in dropping it that low other than to be able to say "y0 dawg i gotz mah vtech to come on earlier!" especially when you only have an intake and exhaust
