Default Belt replacement

Hello.
My belts are sneaking, now that the weather is cold, and I'm wondering whats involved in changing the belts.
Anybody have any ideas on this one?

You remove the belts by loosening the adjust bolt on the corresponding component. If you look at the P/S pump (the first belt that you can take off), there are two bolts, whih you need to loosen, and on top of the pump there is a long bolt facing down, thats the adjust bolt, you'll need a plier for it. When you loosen the adjust bolts, the belts slip right off. Its the same with all three belts. You'll need the manual, because its hard to describe where the adjust bolts are.

Sweet. I was worried that it was going to be as bad as changing the timing belt (timing belt took me 14 hours).

But, it'll be well worth my time to stop the squeaking.
Thanks.

But the crank pulley bolt was a doozy. If I had started with all the right tools, then it wouldn't have taken as long. But, it was my first time, and I didn't do enough research, and I ended up buying all the tools I should have had as I went along.

makes sense. The crank pulley bolt can be a real slut without the right tools, that's for damn sure. Thats why I use my 3/4 drive IR 2141 impact h: 1,200 ft/lbs reverse trq FTW.

If you've already done the timing belt on this car, then you've already done everything you'll need to do to replace the accessory belts. Power steering, alternator, and maybe AC belts are not that bad after doing a timing belt, you shouldn't run into anything seized up at least.

Yeah, I was wondering that, how did you do the t-belt without removing & reinstalling the acc. belts?

I did my timing belt with a friend, and he knew how to do the belts. I didn't care about acc belts at that point, I just wanted to get to the timing belt part.
