Default F20B in a civic?

I know its an accord engine (f20b = jdm accord sir, 200 hp 145 ft/lbs), but since people throw in h22's, would a f20b fit into a civic?

main reasons for asking: When I do get a swap done, I was wanting a b18c5 (do it once, do it right ), but the f20b is almost $1000 less, and has more torque.

yeah, because everyone on the bandwagon gets b18's and b16's

can anyone actually contribute?

I know the f20b is physiclly smaller than the h-beast. I remember back in my accord modding days, even this engine was looked over with those guys in favor of the h22, most likely due to being able to find one. People don't think of it, not to mention you don't see them for sale on many sites. But if you can fit an h22, I figure why not one of these? I know there may be some tranny issues (cable), but I won't do the swap myself h: I just wanted to get some input before I went to my shop of choice and asked them about it.

There's a reason for the bandwagon. B series engines are cheap, plentiful, powerful, and have a strong aftermarket. Good luck finding more than a handful of parts for the F20B.

Because it would cost as much to install as an h22, and a h22 would be more beneficial.

the f20b can use alot of the usdm f22 parts. Only difference is the cylinders and pistons.

not in my eyes. the f20b is a lighter, smaller engine that could more than likely actually fit. Not to mention I've heard the hassels of h22s going in, which is why I'm asking about the f20b to begin with.

h22 swap are becoming second nature now. If you are having a shop do it, they shouldnt have a problem. The only problem is usually traction and destroying axles.
