Default Blow Shocks?

with a 1.8 in drop do u think ill blow my shocks?

the shocks will blow sooner than if the ride height was stock.

it's a matter of when not if.

so can u tell me what all will i need to drop my hatch bout 1.8?......searched but still a lil cloudy....not a suspension guy..thanks

to do it right you will need new performance shocks, quality springs/coilover sleeves, and camber kits.

the ride height doesnt do the damage to teh shocks, the stiffer springs do...my friend had ground controls that were matched to factory shocks and he drove for 2 years on em, going as low as 3 inches and only blew one shock in that time. if he had put a much stiffer spring on though....it would ahve been a lot sooner.

but if i wanted i could get some gc coilovers that matched up to my shocks and roll around on them for a while?...would i still need a camber kit?

depends on how low you go....my gf is down 2 inches and she wore out a set of kumhos in 10,000 miles....with proper alignment i got near 30,000 out of some yokohamas....

Yes on the camber kit, you will need those if you want any kind of life out of your tires.

save yourself the trouble and get new shocks...
