issue is that either the aftermarket cluster is not calibrated correctly...or you have misaligned or damged the needles while installing them.

what kind of cluster is it?

CndyBluEX02 actually messaged me and told me that he/she removed the OEM gauge faces. Which you are not supposed to do. You purchased overlays which go over the OEM faces. You most-likely damaged the stepper motor which is responsible for moving the needles. OR you damaged the needles themselves by applying too much pressure on the needle themselves which bent the rod going into the gauge itself. Either way sounds like you will need to purchase new OEM gauges.

I recently did a cluster swap on my 02 civic DX coupe for a 04 cluster from a coupe, both were from manual transmissions, but with the cluster I swapped none of my gauges work, and I did take the gauge faces off along with the needles. Could this be the reason why my gauges are not working yet everything else on the cluster is such as the indicator lights?
