smoke coming out the exhast
 

hi, i have a 98 civic ex coupe, for some reason when i shut off the car, there are still a littlebit of smokes coming out the muffler, is this normal?

no not normal...what color smoke?

its very hard to describe, but its not black, its like snowy white, but it only last for like 10secs, and the smoke goes away. and its -5 degree outside. i also have an aftermarket muffler on it too.

so the smoke after engine shuts off is nothing wrong, its just becuz the weather is cold?

I think it's just cause it has a little vapor left in it and it's so cold that you can see it, kind of like steam. But yeah, I don't think that anythings wrong.

yeah...most likely its just water vapors. Does it smell at all?
