what to do??
i have a jdm engine that im swapping right now, problem is its from a RHD car so the wiring harness is setup to enter on the left side of the firewall where my old harness entered on the right side. it's not long enough to stretch across so im stuck at what to do...
convert to rhd :chuckles:
I guess all you can do is extend the wires :dunno: |
if the jdm wiring is correct for your car then just extend the wires. usually people just get an EX Civic harness assumming the swap has vtec
aight thanks
i found a way to re-route the harness around under neath the intake manifold and have the injector wires come up out of the gaps in the manifold. im very happy cuz now it looks soo much cleaner and my harness fits where the original one went. just a few more days....

Congrats!

ill be over tomorrow to double check everything... are we ready to start it yet??? don't forget the fluids
almost, still gotta fill it up with fluids, change the radiator hoses, plug in the ecu, hook up the battery, torque the axels, and figure out where this one hose goes lol
Just buy the US harness. Think about it. All the plugs will plug in but the chassis plugs are switched. That's a lot of wires to extend.
