Civic Type R or Teg Type R?
I drive a 98 Civic coupe and thinking about getting either JDM Civic Type R or Teg Type R. Price difference of the engines are $500 and I'm trying to get some feedback to see which would be better for my car.

ITR f0 sh0!

ctr is rarely used... more original.. i vote ctr
|
this is just for the engine right? if it was the car, get a civic CTR>.. never seen one :), motor wise. probably go teg type r if u wanna go all motor
|
ITR, or build something better for less. A GSR with an LS crank and rods, and either use a Skunk intake manifold, or swap a PR3 head and ITR manifold on.
|
CTR may be more rare, but you can be rare and still get stomped by someone with an ITR engine, so you decide.

Neither, they are both a waste of your money. GSR. Put a red valve cover on if you want to feel special.

Ah crap! I didn't read the post before I voted.
I thought we were taking about the whole car.... ITR motor FOR SURE!!! Change that shiit to B16B or B18C5.. it makes more sense that way. |
ITR-no replacement for displacement
|
ITR is faster but CTR is way cooler (this is a civic forum remember)
