Drag Gen III Turbo Kit
I was thinking about getting this kit for my 97 EX. Is this kit any good? It's on sale for $2700. Anybody have any idea what kind of output I should see out of this thing. Any other comments are welcome. Thanks.

The MaxRev kits don't come with any fuel management, and you have to weld your own (provided)piping. I don't really like their manifolds, but they're better than the DRAG ones. The MAxRev DP's are really nice, though. 2.5" with flex. You can also choose the specs of your turbo, but the MaxRevs come with T3/T04E's(unless you upgrade to a T3/60-1), and even with a small trim it might not spool as fast as some people would like. It's a good base to start with if you know what fuel components you want to run. If you go MaxRev, I would get the package that comes with the Hondata S200, and then all you would need is some big injectors and get it tuned. Plus you get the nifty 3-step. Oh, you would need an OBD-I ECU and an adapter harness too, since you're OBD-II.

This guy has one on his 'CRX' and has posted about keeping up with twin turbo Supras and twin turbo RX-7s. Lots of lag, but lots of power once it's spooled.

Hmmm..... that's cheap, but welders around here are expensive so... I can get a complete T3 setup fpr $3,000.00 with everything (Garret T3, custom piping, manifold, down pipe, apexi intercooler, tial wastegate, greddy BOV, oil feed line, fittings, etc. And with my kit, the piping is an awesome site to see. oh, but that's for a Bseries so I'm sure a D series setup would be cheaper.
