Default Need help: Rear Upper Strut bar pics? 94 Civic

94 Civic EX

Ok, I just got my ebay Rear Upper Strut bar in the mail last night. When I tried to install it it doesnt seem to fit.
The mounting brackets are a cresent shape which fits perfectly if the point of the cresent faces the outside of the car. The bar doesnt reach from bracket to bracket like this though.
I *think* the bar will reach if I reverse the brackets and make the cresent face inside the car. Like that though there is very little support under the mounting bracket. Is this how it goes?

If anyone has some pics of theirs installed it would help. Or if anyone has any info i'd appreciate it.

Thanks

The braces come up and the bar bolts high on the braces.

good job....i put mine in within about 5 mins, the hardest part was cutting the carpet so it wouldn't look ghetto. I didn't see much of a gain from the rear upper one though, i liked the front upper and the rear tie bar.
