Default Manual a/c to climate control; what to do?

At the moment my EG has a/c, manually adjustable;

I was thinking about replacing it with a climate control unit;

But what I don't know is, do I need more than just this unit to get it working like it is meant to be?

unpossible. Most people just switch over the face plate and bulbs to give it that oh so special JDM "look"

I don't care about the JDM look, it's overrated IMO.

Thanks for the reply

I agree, some just do it to match up amber etc. The JDM civic has a different heater core and control system so that the control will work. I don't know if you can source that stuff and then make it work, but seems a bit too much work to me.

It does sound like one hell of a job.
Unfortunate thing is, you can swap the whole underdash, but except for the UK, all of Europe is LHD... so it wont fit.
So I would need to rebuild my LHD underdash with a RHD one... a lot of time and work for a small thing like this.

I got this from HT;
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2183885

Nice info on some things, but too bad it isn't completed yet...
All I need to know is if the parts that need to be swapped from RHD to LHD stuff will fit on the LHD underdash...
If so, it's a pretty cool project to undertake (I wouldn't be surprised to be the first one in the Netherlands with climate control other than an imported JDM EG6 if there are any).

Sure thing
Be prepared to wait a while though, as time consuming as I think this is, it's going to be on long term, as there are other, more important time consuming things to do.
