Default How much gas is left?

This seems like a basic question, but I can't find it in my owner's manual. I have a Civic Hybrid (2004). When the low fuel indicator light is on, how much fuel remains? One gallon? Half a gallon? It would be nice to know!!

You shouldn't let it run that low anyway. You would be sucking up bunch of dirt, grime and whatever else is at the bottom of your tank.

But usually most Civics it's 2 gallons left.

Plus it's bad for your fuel pump, the fuel that goes through it lubricates and cools it so it's not good to run too low.

I was gonna say the same thing.

It's not unusual for some cars to even take longer to start when you let it get below 1/4 tank. In the long run, you're better off filling up whenever the gauge gets to the 1/2 or at least 1/4 area so don't put unnecessary strain on the pump.
