Default HELP: EG coup catback exhaust on an EG hb

i've done some searching and i've come to the conclusion that these 2 exhausts are not interchangable.. but im wondering how they could be!

am i going to need to move some hangers? or is the piping just too long and is there nothing i can do about it?

thanks in advance everybody!
cheers!

My sons 88 hatch needed a center pipe. I had a new one from a 92 sedan. I laid it under the car and eyeballed where to cut to the pipe to make it work. Then I just used couplers to splice it back together. Not the best way, but I already had the pipe.

If it was my car, I would have just oredered a new Bosal pipe for the car since they're pretty cheap and put it on.
