running on two cyl.
 

i have a 93 civic dx with the 1.5 in it and it was sitting 4 about a year in the yard finnally got around to it and when i cleaned the tank the injectors changed the fuel pump filter oil plugs wires no1 and no2 cylinder are not firing what could b the prob?? can anyone help me out??

water in the dizzy fucked up the cap and or rotor.

the dist and wires are clean anddry i replaced all the orings and gasket for that it just gettin to me that it wont fire up u know is gettin fuel air spark compression is good i think it might be the valve lash ????????

Are you getting spark in those cylinders? Fuel?

valve lash wouldn't do it, they would have to be so out of whack that you would have major other problems first. Have you wave formed the Cam/Crank sensor? If it is faulting it could be giving the wrong firing trigger to the ignition module, and only fire on one "bank" instead of both.

could also be a faulty ignition module. I would whip out the ole red brick and start diagnosing primary ignition components.

Just because the hole is getting spark, it doesn't mean it is a strong enough spark. That is where some spark testers fall short as they don't have a true resistance. I'm assuming you don't have access to something like a VAT-40 or anything to check the firing line on your plugs.

fuel + compression + spark = combustion. you must not be getting one of these. I would recomend some starter fluid to see if that makes it pick up, if it does you know it is a fuel delivery problem. if you have a timing light hook it up to the spark plug in question and see if it fires.
